This guide has been prepared to give you an overview of the helpful content within the TL Tech website.

The guides are free to access and designed to help build confidence with using voice assistant and smart home technologies.

We try to regularly review and update our content, if however you spot anything amiss or equally something that we haven’t explained well, we really appreciate your feedback.
Guide Structure & Navigation #
The guides are split up into eight sections:
From the overview page you can see all the guides listed. You can click on a specific guide to open it, or browse a whole section by either clicking on the section heading i.e. Getting Started, or the button where it says Explore More in each section. Then from this page you can choose the specific guide that you would like.
When you are in the guides there is a menu on the left hand side of the screen that helps you to navigate between sections and guides.
Where relevant we try to cross refer to our other guides or content to help you navigate and find what you are looking for.
There is a search bar at the top of the guides (underneath the main website navigation banner). You can type in what your looking for here and it will bring up a little drop down list that you can choose from. Note that the search starts as soon as you start to type so you might not even have to type in the whole word before the drop down results show the guide that you want.
Guide Content #
When you go into each guide you’ll first see the table of contents, which allows you to easily skip to a specific part of the guide, if you want.
As you scroll down into the main body of the guide, you will notice the left hand menu change to display the table of contents, this allows you to see where you are in the guide. The section you are currently reading will be highlighted in orange.
The majority of the guides include annotated screen shots of the device display and Alexa app or web console interface where relevant. We have also created short walk through videos of many of the guides which you will find embedded as a YouTube video.
